My return to portraiture began in a laundromat in 2014. I sat in the back with my easel inside a briefcase and invited people to sit for a portrait that I painted in oil on wood in about thirty minutes. The portraits were Painted from life, documented with my phone, and then given to the sitter free of charge.
This project is ongoing, popping up in locations. unannounced without prior notice.
